BBS Motorsport supports the Genesis Magma GT3 Concept with Prototype Expertise and Wheels

At this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, Genesis presented the Genesis Magma GT3 Concept, offering a glimpse into the brand’s potential future motorsport activities. The concept car was unveiled during a press conference at the Circuit de la Sarthe and demonstrates how Genesis interprets the requirements of the GT3 class in a race car designed with uncompromising performance in mind.
Unlike many GT3 projects, the Magma GT3 Concept is not based on an existing production vehicle. Instead, the vehicle was developed from the ground up as a standalone concept, with a focus on motorsport technology, aerodynamics, and racing engineering.
BBS Motorsport was proud to support this special project by developing and supplying the wheels. In doing so, we were able to contribute our many years of expertise in motorsports, prototype construction, and the development of high-load lightweight wheels for demanding race cars. Especially when it comes to concept and development vehicles, flexibility, precision, and close collaboration with manufacturers are crucial factors for success – skills that have been among BBS Motorsport’s core strengths for many years.
With the Magma GT3 Concept, Genesis underscores its long-term motorsports ambitions and is exploring potential future commitments alongside its ongoing hypercar program in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). The vehicle impressively demonstrates how racing technology can serve as a catalyst for the brand’s future high-performance vehicles.
For BBS Motorsport, participation in innovative development and prototype projects such as the Genesis Magma GT3 Concept is further proof of our expertise as a technical partner for manufacturers and racing teams at the highest international level.
