MAG-R – Forged magnesium wheel for road and track
As a high-end supplier of forged aluminum and magnesium wheels, we have been pushing the boundaries of what is technically feasible in lightweight construction and performance development for decades.
Our technologies are trusted by some of the most demanding names in the automotive industry—including renowned OEMs such as Porsche and Bugatti, as well as the premier class of motorsport: Formula 1! This deep-rooted expertise in forging technology, materials development, and motorsport has shaped everything we do. Lightweight construction, maximum strength, and uncompromising quality are not goals for us, but standards.
With this project, we made a conscious decision to transfer our OEM and motorsport expertise directly to a passionate community of enthusiasts: the BMW M community. The result is a forged magnesium wheel that has been specially developed for demanding road and track day use. It offers significant weight savings, even more direct steering feel, and noticeably improved driving dynamics—while complying with the highest safety and quality standards for real-world use.
A key competitive advantage lies in our in-house, certified magnesium coating facility. This has been approved by renowned OEMs and enables a surface treatment developed specifically for magnesium, ensuring corrosion protection, durability, and OEM-compliant quality at the highest level. This technology is a decisive factor in the everyday suitability and longevity of forged magnesium wheels.
Of course, the wheel is TÜV-approved and therefore fully licensed for road use—a crucial difference to many pure motorsport applications in the magnesium sector. This product represents the perfect symbiosis of motorsport technology, OEM quality, and road approval—developed for drivers who expect uncompromising performance.
The wheel is currently available as a limited edition exclusively in sizes 10×20 ET6.5 and 11×20 ET14.5 and is currently only available for the M2/M3/M4 (G8x) platform; further details are available on request.
